LIVING IN A PRISON WITH THE DOOR WIDE OPEN

Take Control Of Your Life & Never Be Lazy Again with Ultramarathon Man

Time and time again, I’ve noticed that SO many of us go through life acquiring goods and accumulating materials, but not creating spiritual wealth or following a purpose. Then, before we know it, we have a handful of bills that could’ve been avoided, and we’re caught in the hamster wheel of trying to afford to keep the boat we built with our own two hands afloat.

All of this happened because we didn’t take the time to discover what would TRULY give us fulfillment. Why do we desire the things we want? Why do we want that car? Is it the material thing itself, or something deeper that we desire? What purpose are you chasing after, and how are you going to get there?

My guest today is one of the world’s best examples of chasing what HE wants in life, not what others think he should chase. His name is Dean Karnazes and he’s been in the public eye for decades now as an ultramarathoner, best-selling author, and overall super inspiring individual. I’m SO excited to share this one with you all today!

TIME Magazine named him one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the World.” Men’s Fitness hailed him as one of the fittest men on the planet. Stan Lee, of Marvel Comics fame, called him, “A real superhuman.” An acclaimed endurance athlete and NY Times bestselling author, Dean Karnazes has pushed his body and mind to inconceivable limits. Among his many accomplishments, he has run 50 marathons, in all 50 US states, in 50 consecutive days, he’s run 350 continuous miles, foregoing sleep for three nights.

He’s run across the Sahara Desert in 120-degree temperatures, and he’s run a marathon to the South Pole in negative 40 degrees. On ten separate occasions he’s run a 200-mile relay race solo, racing alongside teams of twelve. His long list of competitive achievements include winning the World’s Toughest Footrace, the Badwater Ultramarathon, running 135 miles nonstop across Death Valley during the middle of summer. He has raced and competed on all seven continents of the planet, twice over.

If you’re ready to learn how to walk right through the door in the prison you feel stuck inside, how to get obsessed with the journey rather than the goal, and how to discover your true purpose in life, then I’m confident you’ll get a ton of value from this conversation. And now, please join me for Episode 1,280 of The School of Greatness!

Some Questions I Ask:

  • How do you overcome pain from crippling you?
  • Do you think it’s possible to be fulfilled without a purpose?
  • What’s the longest you’ve run non-stop?
  • What was the most spiritual experience you had while running?

In this episode, you will learn:

  • How to craft the life you dream of
  • How to celebrate the journey, not the goal
  • Why you might be financially successful but personally empty
  • How to train your mind to push past your limits
  • Plus much more…
