You know that famous quote? “Tough times don’t last, but tough people do.” This saying has been on my mind a lot this week, especially after Los Angeles shut down again because of a surge in COVID-19.
It’s okay to be bummed out right now.

It’s healthy to acknowledge your feelings in hard times. Don’t suppress them. If you’re angry, then it’s okay to feel that anger. If you’re sad, it’s okay to be bummed out. But take heart: through adversity, great people are made.
I’ve interviewed a ton of people on The School of Greatness, and something that comes up with almost every one of them is that struggle made them who they are today. They didn’t get to where they are by playing safe. Success wasn’t handed to them on a silver platter. They fought for it, and it was a hard battle, but an extremely fulfilling one.
